About our Application Process:

  • Our applications are currently not open for the spring semester.

  • Team members on the product development subteam are expected to spend 5-6 hours weekly. In contrast, members of Outreach & Design, Business, and Media are expected to spend 3-4 hours per week on work for the team. We recognize school work can be stressful and demanding so work to make appropriate adjustments as necessary.

  • We typically recruit in the first weeks of each semester. You will have to fill out both our team specific application and the Cornell Engineering general project team application. Throughout the application process, if you would like to learn more about being a part of a specific subteam, come to one of our info sessions.

  • In a short answer: no. Coffee chats are a way to learn more about our team via an informal 1 on 1 meeting with a current member. They will not positively or negatively impact your application to our team. We plan on having a coffee chat session following our in-person information session, so feel free to come out and meet some of our members!

  • The application process includes submitting an application, and then upon review, you may be offered an interview in the next week. It may also help to attend one of our information sessions to learn more about the team before filling out the application.

  • In looking for candidates, while established skill sets may help, we prioritize an interest and willingness to learn all designing aspects related to biomedical design. This spring semester, we aim to recruit members with working electrical engineering/circuits or app design knowledge for product development. All majors are welcome to apply for business. We are not recruiting for outreach.
